Homeless and desperate – how had she come to this? Sara’s dad died a year ago and now her mum is seeing a new man. Sara feels like no-one loves her any more. Liam is older: 18, reassuring, and caring … until Sara accidentally gets him into trouble with the police over his drug taking habit. Then she’s forced to go on the run with him. They find a squat in London, where Sara’s best friend Ruby lives with her boyfriend, but gradually they are all dragged into an underworld of drugs and homelessness.
