Vince Cross has a love of history that sings from the pages of his books, inspiring children all over the world.  His most recent books have been set around the time of the two World Wars, but Vince is also able to get into the mind of children who lived at other times and places including Bible times, and Victorian England.  His stories are always told from the point of view of a child who lived through that time and who can show us what it really felt like to be there.

He works with children, and for children in his work as a composer and producer, and his songs and music have been used in schools, on TV and radio, and in stage shows around the world.

Before becoming an author, Vince was a teacher, and he regularly writes and composes for English Language Teaching courses for children and adults.
