As a Gentleman Amateur, he created the Wayfarers book series simply because he loves to write. As a Rotarian and Freeman of the City of London Bill is a firm believer in giving back and has raised thousands of pounds for cancer research.

Photographer, Guy Miller is recruited for a vital but dangerous task as a Queen’s Wayfarer.  This fictitious organisation is based on the real Corps of King’s Messengers. They are couriers employed by the British Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office to hand-carry secret and important documents – the Diplomatic Bag – to British embassies, high commissions, and consulates around the world. Like the real King’s Messengers, the Queen’s Wayfarers (named after Elizabeth 1st) generally travel in plain clothes in business class on scheduled airlines with their consignment.
